Need some easy Halloween treats for your family this Halloween? It’s fun for the family to have Halloween treats while waiting for trick-or-treaters to come or just to have at home anytime around the holiday for your own family. Maybe you’re having your own special party with your little goblins and witches. If that’s the case, here are three cool Halloween treat ideas for family Halloween parties.

1.      S’mores

Can anyone make a list for Halloween treats without mentioning s’mores? S’mores are a classic in the fall. They are great around a campfire, perfect before or after an autumn hayride, and absolutely delicious as a Halloween treat that can be made right in the kitchen for the whole family. Halloween s’mores are easy. Just get a bunch of bars of chocolate, typically Hershey’s. Get a bag of marshmallows and a box of graham crackers, and that’s all you will need for this perfect fall recipe.

Stack a few squares of chocolate and one big marshmallow between two graham crackers. Make several of these. (It’s fun for the kids to help make these—and very easy.) Put all of the stacks on a microwave-safe plate and stick in microwave for 30 seconds. Check to see if the chocolate has melted some. If not, add 15 seconds at a time until the chocolate and marshmallows have melted together. Press this decadent concoction together and serve. The whole family—and any guests—will absolutely love the traditional s’more.

2.      Mummy Dog Surprises

I can’t remember where I heard the term “mummy dog,” but this treat fits into one that I’ve been making at parties for years. I have called them “wienie surprises” instead, and everyone loves them at parties. I can see how the biscuit covering the mini-wienies resembles a mummy. You can purchase cheap biscuits to make these easy Halloween treats. Get a can of ten biscuits, roll out the dough, and place half a slice of American cheese or processed cheese. Place a miniature smoky dog on this, or even just cut up hot dogs. Roll them up, and stick them in the oven at 350 until the dough is done. Just follow the instructions on the biscuit package. These mummies are yummy with bloody ketchup and ghouly mustard.

3.      Orange Halloween Punch

You now have your family Halloween treats—one sweet and one salty—so how about something to wash it all down? Make a simple and tasty punch with some orange sherbet and a two liter bottle of ginger ale to fizz it all up. Add a bottle of Sprite or pineapple juice, according to your tastes. Just experiment. You won’t mess this up. It will be tasty and fizzy—and orange! Perfect for a family Halloween party!
